This petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report registered as Case Crime No.0336 of 2023, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 452, 323 and 506 IPC, Police Station-Rorawar, District-Aligarh.
While entertaining this writ petition, this Court has referred the matter to the Mediation Centre, requiring it to submit a report. Report has been received from Mediation Centre, as per which, the parties have resolved their differences and a notarial affidavit, containing the terms of such settlement, has also been submitted before the Investigating Officer.
Learned counsel representing the parties also made statement that the parties have resolved their differences amicably and no dispute survives in the matter.
Since the parties have already resolved their differences amicably and the report of the Mediation Centre is also submitted in that regard, we are of the view that no useful purpose would be served in allowing the investigation to proceed any further in the matter. Consequently, the F.I.R. in Case Crime No.0336 of 2023, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 452, 323 and 506 IPC, Police StationRorawar, District-Aligarh stands quashed.
Writ petition stands allowed, accordingly.
