The present criminal appeal has been preferred under Section 14A(1) of S.C./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, to set aside the summoning/cognizance order dated 18.04.2023 passed by Special Judge S.C./S.T Act, Auraiya, in Special Case No. 131 of 2023 under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of I.P.C and under Section 3(2)(v) of S.C./S.T Act .
Learned counsel for both the parties pointed out that the sole appellant Rajesh Kumar Gupta, had died on 31.08.2023.
Accordingly, the present criminal appeal is dismissed at the stage of admission, due to death of the sole appellant.
