Learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A. are present.

The present criminal appeal under section 14-A(1) SC/ST Act has been filed against the charge sheet dated 14.02.2023 and cognizance cum summoning order dated 20.03.2023 passed by Special Judge SC/ST Act, Ghazipur, in S.S.T. No. 215 of 2023 (State Vs. Jai Prakash and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 88 of 2022, under Sections 406,420,504,506 I.P.C. and 3(1)(d), 3(1) (Dha) and 3(2) (va) of SC/ST Act, Police Station Kasimabad, District Ghazipur pending in the court of Special Judge SC/ST Act, Ghazipur.

In the Court, learned counsel for the applicants only submitted that some direction be issued to the court concerned regarding bail as the applicants want to surrender before the trial court.

The application is, therefore, disposed of with the direction to the trial court that if the applicants appear before the trial court within 15 days from today and moves an application for bail before the trial court, the same shall be decided as soon as possible in view of law laid down in Satender Kumar Antil Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another, (2021) 10 SCC 773 .
