Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Subhash Chandra Pandey, learned counsel appearing for opposite partyBar Council of Uttar Pradesh.

Sri Subhash Chandra Pandey has filed an application for discharge of contempt notice and dismissal of the contempt notice alongwith the affidavit, the same is taken on record.

In the aforesaid affidavit, it has been categorically indicated that the order of the Writ Court has been complied with in its letter and spirit. Sri Pandey has further submitted that Writ Court had disposed of the writ petition with a direction to respondent no. 1 to place the suggestions on behalf of the petitioner as extracted in the meeting of the Bar Council for consideration and appropriate action at the earliest.

Attention has been drawn of this Court towards letter dated 08.01.2017 and resolution no. 3974 of 2017 dated 16.07.2017 (Annexure no. 5), whereby the direction of the Writ Court has been complied with.

Accordingly, the instant contempt petition is dismissed.

Notices, if any, are discharged.
