- The instant application has been filed seeking release of the applicant on bail in Case Crime No. 343 of 2023, under Sections 498-A, 304-B IPC & 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station- Handia, DistrictPrayagraj, during pendency of the trial in the court below.
- FIR of the present case was lodged against applicant and his family members and according to the FIR, marriage of the applicant was performed with the deceased in the month of June, 2022 and after marriage, applicant and his family members tortured the deceased for want of dowry and on 22.06.2023 deceased committed suicide by hanging herself.
- Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that entire allegation made against the applicant is totally false and baseless and only being husband of the deceased, he has been made accused in the present matter. He further submitted that actually deceased was short tampered lady and minor dispute with regard to recharge of mobile arose between husband and wife and only due to this reason, she hanged herself.
