- Heard Sri Radhey Shyam Yadav, learned counsel for the applicant, Sri Ram Babu Singh, learned counsel for the informant and Sri Rajeev Dhar Dwivedi, learned AGA, for the State.
- The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant with the prayer to release him on bail in S.T.No.557 of 2023 arising out of Case Crime No.54 of 2023, under Sections 304B and 498A IPC and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Kayamganj, District Farrukhabad during pendency of the trial.
- FIR of the present case was lodged against the applicant and his family members and according to the FIR, marriage of the applicant was performed with the deceased about eight months before and after marriage applicant and his family members tortured her for demand of a Bullet Motorcycle and a gold chain and on 7.2.2023 informant received an information that his daughter, i.e., deceased hanged herself.
- Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is the husband of the deceased and on the basis of false allegation of demand of dowry and torture, he has been made accused in the present matter along with his family members.
