It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is mother-in-law and the allegation is that the deceased has died within seven years of marriage. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that as per the F.I.R., there were allegations with regard to demand of dowry by the accused person and as a result of the same, the deceased wife on 05.10.2022 has administered herself poison and thereafter she was taken to district hospital where she was declared dead. The postmortem of the deceased was held where no external injuries were found. Although, viscera has been preserved, the report has not been received till date. It is further submitted that the deceased had committed suicide by taking poison and she was taken to the hospital by applicant and the applicant has informed the mother of the deceased as has been stated in the statement by the mother of the deceased at Pg-46. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the mother-in-law and is aged about 56 years. The applicant has no criminal history. Applicant is languishing in jail since 07.10.2022 and in case she is released on bail, she will not misuse the liberty of bail and will cooperate in the trial.
