Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

The present Bail Application has been filed with the prayer to grant bail to the applicant - Chov Singh in Case Crime No. 461 of 1997 under Section 2/3 of U.P. Gangsters and Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, Police Station - Gandhi Park, District - Aligarh.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that the present bail application arises out of the fact that the applicant was enlarged on bail in the year 1998, however, could not appear before the court concerned as the trial is shifted to Aligarh. Thereafter the applicant has surrendered before the court below in the year 2023. At this stage, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the ends of justice would be served in case the trial in the present case is directed to be expedited and concluded in a time bound manner.

Learned A.G.A. for the State has no objection to the aforesaid request of the learned counsel for the applicant.

Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that the trial court shall endeavour to complete trial court proceedings within one year from the date of production of certified copy of this order without giving unnecessary adjournment to the parties. The S.S.P., Aligarh is hereby directed to produce the prosecution witnesses on the date fixed by the trial court without any delay.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the bail application is disposed of.
