By means of this bail application the applicant has prayed to be enlarged on bail in Case Crime No. 532 of 2016 at Police Station Handia, District Prayagraj under Sections 323, 504, 506, 308 I.P.C. The applicant is in jail since 16.01.2022.
The bail application of the applicant was rejected by learned trial court on 16.01.2023.
The applicant was a proclaimed offender. The incident is of the year 2006. However the applicant could be arrested only in the year 2023. It is contended by learned AGA that the applicant was avoiding the investigation and also the trial court proceedings. The trial court in the status report has recorded that the applicant was absconding and was not appearing despite issuance of summons and coercive measures taken out against him. At this stage, no case for bail is made out.
Without going into the merits of the case, the bail application is dismissed.
