Heard Mr. Amit Kumar Singh, the learned counsel for applicants and the learned A.G.A. for State.
Anticipatory Bail Application of applicants was rejected by Additional Sessions Judge/Special Judge (E.C. Act/Special Court No. 1, Varanasi). However, that by itself does not specify that applicants have been named as an accused in a case also under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Since, applicants have not implicated for an offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Therefore, this Anticipatory Bail Application is cognizable by the regular bench.
Accordingly, place this matter before appropriate bench on 24.4.2023.
