Heard Ms. Kaveri Singh, learned counsel for the applicants and Mr. S.S. Tiwari, learned AGA appearing on behalf of the State.

Perused the report submitted by the Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 1, Meerut dated 20.05.2023, which shows that the prosecution evidence is over and the case has been set down for the statement of the accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C. on 29.05.2023.

In the circumstances, it is directed that the trial shall now proceed fixing two dates every week and concluded within six weeks next. No adjournment shall be granted on an any ground, including abstinence resolutions by the Bar. Learned Counsel appearing in the case shall be obliged to discharge their professional duties, whatever the resolution of the Bar of which they are members, else they will be answerable to this Court.

This application is, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order.

Let this order be communicated to the Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 1, Meerut through the learned Sessions Judge, Meerut by the Office within 48 hours.
