Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early disposal of Session Trial No. 974 of 2018 (State Vs. Ravi @ Shashikant and Another) connected with Session Trial No. 319 of 2019 (State Vs. Sukhpal), arising out of Case Crime No. 0072 of 2018, under Sections 323/34, 308/34, 504 I.P.C., Police Station - Loni Border, District - Ghaziabad, pending in the Court of learned Additional District Judge, Room No. 1st, Ghaziabad.

Considering the fact that the session trial remained pending since 2018. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid session trial in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
