Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused material on record.

This application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing of the entire proceedings, including order dated 01.12.2022, of case no. 22780 of 2022, arising out of case crime no. 132 of 2021, under Section 147, 332, 353, 188, 323, 504, 506 IPC and Section 7 of Criminal Law Amendment Act, P.S. Chirgaon, district Jhansi, pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 01/M.P./M.L.A., Jhansi.

After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the applicants submits that he is not pressing the instant application u/s 482 CrPC on merits and submits that applicants are willing to appear before the court concerned and a direction may be made to the court concerned to decide the bail application of applicants in accordance with law laid down by the Hon'ble Aplex Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another, 2022 SCC OnLine SC 825.

Learned AGA has opposed the application.

In view of the aforesaid, after considering the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and facts of the matter, the instant application u/s 482 CrPC is finally disposed of with direction that

in case, applicants surrender/appear before the trial court within a period of four weeks from today and apply for bail, their bail application shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with settled law, including the law laid down in the case of Satender Kumar Antil Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another, 2022 SCC OnLine SC 825.

The instant application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is disposed of accordingly.
