Heard Sri Dinesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the applicant, Sri K.P. Pathak, learned A.G.A for the State and perused the record.

This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the Sessions Judge, Basti for early decision of Misc. Criminal Appeal No. 321 of 2022 and Criminal Appeal No. 269 of 2022, pending in the court of Sessions Judge, Basti arising out of Complaint No. 1588 of 2017, under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, Police Station Parasrampur, District Basti.

Having gone through the relief as sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present application is finally disposed of with a direction to the concerned trial court to decide aforesaid case in accordance with law, without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.

It is open for the court concerned to take all effective measures, as per law, to ensure the presence of the accused.
