Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

By means of this application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., applicant has invoked the inherent jurisdiction of this Court, for a direction to the court below i.e. Civil Judge (Junior Division)/F.T.C. Crime Against Women, Mathura to decide the Case No. 09 of 2020 (State vs. Kedar Singh and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 243 of 2019 under Sections 498A, 323, 506 IPC and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Mathura, expeditiously, within a stipulated period.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant the matter is pending consideration since 2019 before the court concerned.

Perused the record as well as the order-sheet.

Expeditious disposal of a case is the right of every litigant and it is expected from every court to endeavour to dispose of a case pending before it, expeditiously.

¶11

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the court below i.e. Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division)/Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 6, Mathura, which has now been transferred, is directed to make all possible efforts to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously, preferably within a period of nine months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
