Present petition has been filed with the following reliefs:

"i. A writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties no. 2 and 3 to examine the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law.

ii. A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties to pay the arrears of the regular salary in place of fixed salary from August 1983 to September 2002.

iii. A writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing the opposite party no. 2 and 3 to grant the similar benefits which was granted to others similarly situated persons of the husband of the petitioner in the interest of justice.

Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the similar benefits have been accorded to similarly situated employee on 06.07.2021 and 14.06.2022 by means of an order contained in Annexure - 8.

Considering the fact that the benefits have been granted to similarly placed persons as alleged by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed off permitting the petitioner to make a fresh application before respondent no.2 who shall consider the case of the petitioner and shall pass orders, if the claim is found tenable, in accordance with law within a period of four months.
