Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents through video conferencing.

Present petition has been filed with the following prayer:-

"To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 1 to decide the Election Petition No. 01508/2021 Computer Case No. T202103400301508 Smt. Noorjahan Vs. Smt. Radha Devi and others, related with village Panchayat Kishaura, Block Jhinjhak, District Kanpur Dehat, Under Section 12-G Uttar Pradesh Panchayatraj Act within the time frame as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a suitable direction may be issued to respondent no. 1 to decide the election petition expeditiously within stipulated period of time to which learned Standing Counsel has no objection.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, with the consent of parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 1 to decide the election petition strictly in accordance with law without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties after providing opportunity of hearing to all concern, if possible within six months after submission of certified copy of this order. In case, election petition is not decided within the prescribed time, reasons shall be recorded for the same.
