Solitary grievance of the petitioners appear to be that their Motor Accident Claim Petition No. 156 of 2019 (Vinod Kumar Upadhayay & others Vs. Anjana Dhama & others), has remained pending, before Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, North, Meerut for very long.

While no positive direction may be issued to the Tribunal to conclude the proceedings in any fixed time frame, it may be observed that such claim petition involving death may not be kept pending for very long.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioners files a copy of this order before the learned court below, within a period of two weeks from today, the said Tribunal shall draw its own tentative date schedule and attempt to conclude the proceedings within the same time frame, without allowing for any undue or long adjournment to any party.
