On the other hand, learned State Counsel has submitted that by means of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuing direction to the respondents to re-determine the amount of compensation for the land acquired under the National Highways Act. His submission is that in fact an alternative statutory remedy is available to the petitioner under Section 3G(5) of the Act.
Accordingly, in view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is hereby dismissed.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
