Personal affidavit of Sri Kunwar Anupam Singh, Superintendent of Police, Kannauj is taken on record.
It is not in dispute that an F.I.R. was lodged with the allegation that minor daughter of complainant was kidnapped by the named accused persons wherein investigation is still pending and a report thereof is placed before this Court that two teams are constituted for the purpose of investigation. However, till date two accused persons have been arrested and minor girl has not been recovered.
Superintendent of Police, Kannauj who is present today in person before this Court ensures that he will take all possible steps to recover the girl.
In these circumstances, the prayer made in present habeas corpus petition cannot be adjudicated any further, therefore, the proceedings in this petition are closed. However, the police authorities shall take all endeavour to recover the girl as soon as possible.
This application stands disposed of .
