Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State respondents.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners with the prayer to quash the FIR dated 8.6.2022, registered as Case Crime No. 378 of 2022, under Sections 498-A, 377, 323, 504, 506, 354 and 452 I.P.C. & Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station-Kotwali, District-Fatehpur.

From a perusal of the record, it appears that the matter being matrimonial in nature, was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court vide order dated 21.07.2022. The report of the Mediation and Conciliation Centre dated 21.06.2022 is on record, from which it is evident that the petitioners have not complied with the order dated 30.11.2022 by which they were required to deposit Rs.30,000/- towards the Mediation and Conciliation Centre for the mediation process, hence,the mediation has failed between the parties.

The present writ petition lacks merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

This order has been passed in the presence of learned counsel for the informant.
