Learned counsel submits that by the impugned order dated 10.03.2021 passed by District Magistrate, Farrukhabad in Case No. 00839 of 2020 (computerized Case No. D202003240000839) under Section 3/4 of U.P. Goonda Act, 1970 (State Vs. Arshad), Case Crime No. 120 of 2020, Police Station - Shamshabad, District - Farrukhabad, declaring the petitioner Goonda under Section 3 of the U.P. Goonda Control Act and also directing him to be externed from the district for a period of six months. The appeal filed against the externment order dated 10.03.2021 was also rejected by the Commissioner, Kanpur Division, Kanpur in Case No. 890 of 2021 (Arshad Vs. State of U.P.).
The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the period of six months' externment has passed away and the matter has become infructuous.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
