The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 16.11.2022, registered as Case Crime No. 998 of 2022, under Sections 147, 148, 149 and 307 IPC, Police Station Hapur Nagar, District-Hapur.
Learned A.G.A., on the basis of instructions, states that petitioner has already been arrested on 1.12.2022 and, as such, the cause of filing the writ petition no more survives and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to apply for bail as permissible under law and in accordance with law.
