There is a letter written by the office of the Senior Superintendent, District Jail, Lucknow addressed to the counsel for the CBI, in which it has been said that the accused-appellant had competed the sentence on 6.7.2018 and he has also deposited the fine as directed by the learned trial court. He further submits that though there is merit in the appeal, but since the accused-appellant has completed the sentence, he would not press this appeal on merit and it may be dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
