The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgement and order dated 28.8.2012 passed in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 42224 of 2012 as well as order dated 06.03.2014 passed in Civil Misc. Contempt Application No. 1587 of 2014.
From perusal of the record, it appears that either the order of the writ court has been complied with or the parties have lost their interest in prosecuting the case.
In the circumstances, there is no need to keep this contempt application pending.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.
However, the applicant will be at liberty to move an application for recall of the order in case the cause of action still survives.
