This is a bail application on behalf of the applicant Wamik in connection with Case Crime No.164 of 2021, under Sections 342, 364-A, 34 I.P.C., Police Station Saraimir, district Azamgarh.

The first information report of this incident was lodged by the informant against four named accused persons including the applicant. It was alleged in the first information report that on 16.11.2021 at about 1:30 p.m. when he came to his house for lunch then he was informed by the family members that his sister had been missing from the house for the last one hour. It was also informed him that she had gone to invite the neighbours for sangeet ceremony on the occasion of birth of nephew and thereafter, she did not return. The informant searched for his sister along with his brothers and friends. The informant also searched for his sister through the CCTV footage installed near his house. On the next morning the informants' father received a phone call through Mobile No.8604411143 that his sister was confined in the applicant's father house. After getting this information, the informant and his father went to Dilshad's house and they found the alleged victim in his house tied with rope. The alleged victim said that she was forcibly abducted on 16.11.2021 at about 12:30 p.m., the applicant, coaccused Hamza, Shah Alam and two unknown persons caught hold of her and forcibly took to the house of Dilshad. She further said that her hands and legs were tied with rope tightly and they were planning to make a demand for ransom of Rs.20 lacs. They were also saying that they would kill the alleged victim after receiving the ransom.
