Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.
This application under Section 482 CrPC has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to direct the Additional Sessions Judge, Court No. 08, Bijnor to conclude the Session Trial No. 295 of 2018 (State Vs. Pratap Singh and Others), arising out of Case Crime No. 129 of 2018, under Sections 304, 302, 323, 325, 504 IPC, Police Station Shercot, District Bijnor within stipulated period.
Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant in the present case is the first informant and charges have been framed against the accused persons on 29.08.2018, however since then, trial has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other and the same has not yet been concluded despite lapse of more than four years.
In view of the above, learned court below is expected to make all endeavours to conclude the aforesaid trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of filing of certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties, if there is no other legal impediment in concluding the aforesaid trial.
With the aforesaid direction, this application under Section 482 CrPC is finally disposed of.
