This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with the prayer to direct the court concerned to expedient the proceedings of Complaint Case No. 2097 of 2016 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, pending in the Court of District and Sessions Judge, Allahabad. It is stated that the proceedings are routinely adjourned.

Learned AGA states that proceedings shall be concluded, expeditiously.

Considering the nature of the order proposed to be passed, it is not necessary to issue notices to the opposite party no.2, and the petition is being disposed of, at this stage itself. State is already represented through learned AGA.

In the facts and circumstances, this application stands disposed of with a direction upon the court concerned to expedite the proceedings of Complaint Case No. 2097 of 2016 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, pending in the Court of District and Sessions Judge, Allahabad and conclude it as expeditiously as possible, by fixing fortnightly dates, without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, except by recording detail reasons. The court concerned shall also consider imposition of costs in such circumstances.
