The present 482 Cr.P.C. application has been filed to quash the impugned criminal proceedings in Case No.6522 of 2018, pending in the court of CJM, Sitapur, charge-sheet/final report dated 27.1.2017 arising out of case crime No.0131 of 2017, P.S. Kotwali, district Sitapur and summoning order dated 29.11.2018.
Learned counsel for applicant, after arguing for some time, submits that he does not want to press the petition. He may be permitted to surrender before the trial court within fifteen days from today and file appropriate bail application which may be decided expeditiously in view of the law laid down by Supreme Court in Satender Kumar Antil versus Central Bureau of Investigation and another Special Leave to Appeal (Cri)No.5191 of 2021. It is further prayed that after being released on bail, he may also be permitted to file a discharge application which may also be decided expeditiously on merit by the trial court.
Ordered accordingly.
The petition is disposed of.
