Heard Sri Anurag Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Prem Prakash, learned A.G.A., and perused material on record.

The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the opposite party no. 1, i.e, Special Judge SC/ST (P.A.) Act/IInd A.D.J. Sultanpur to decide the Session Trial No. 124 of 2016 (State Vs. Rakesh Singh and others) expeditiously within stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the charges has been framed on 20.04.2022 but the prosecution has not examined any single witness till today.

Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2022 without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.

With the aforesaid directions, the application stands disposed of finally.
