Heard learned State Counsel representing the State-appellants and Sri Phool Bux Singh, learned Counsel representing the respondents.
By means of this Special Appeal a challenge has been sought to be made to a judgment and order dated 27.11.2021, passed by learned Contempt Judge, whereby Contempt No. 2104 (C) of 2019 was disposed of with certain observations.
We have been informed that after the order dated 27.11.2021 which is under appeal herein, the matter relating to entitlement of the respondents for payment of particular pay scale and grade pay, was considered and has been rejected by the competent authority in the Government and this order is under challenge in Writ A No. 976 of 2022.
In view of the aforesaid, we do not find that any purpose will be served in continuing the proceedings of this Special Appeal, which is hereby dismissed.
