Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondent and Shri Baleshwar Chaturvedi, learned counsel for Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited.

By means of present writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the validity of impugned order dated 21.12.2020 passed by the Chairman of Respondent Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, Aligarh in Complaint Case no.1656/2020 filed by the petitioner.

It is not in dispute that against the order of Electricity Consumers Grievance Redressal Forum, Aligarh, the petitioner has statutory alternative remedy before Ombudsman under para 7.10 of Uttar Pradesh Electricity Code 2005 read with U.P.E.R.C. (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum and Ombudsman) Regulation 2003. In case the petitioner approaches the Ombudsman ventilating all his grievance within ten days from today, this Court hopes and trust that the Authority concerned would proceed to redress the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of .

The party shall file computer generated copy of such order downloaded from the official website of High Court Allahabad, self attested by the petitioner alongwith a self attested identity proof of the said person (preferably Aadhar Card) mentioning the mobile number to which the said Aadhar Card is linked.

The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing.
