By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2- District Magistrate, Ballia to consider and decide the application of the father of the petitioner dated 4.11.2019 for transfer of arm licence of DBBL No 7400932 in serial no.3619 and Revolver No. 33393 in Serial No. 2683 within stipulated period of time.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that father of the petitioner has moved an application dated 4.11.2019 to transfer the fire arm licence in favour of the petitioner which is still pending till date, the same has not been decided by the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Ballia.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, direction is issued upon respondent no. 2- District Magistrate, Ballia to consider and decide the application of the father of petitioner dated 4.11.2019 to transfer the arm licence of DBBL No. 33393 in Serial No. 2683 in favour of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
