Petitioner is a practicing Advocate and has approached this Court with the grievance that his application for allotment of Chamber is kept pending without any orders passed on it by the third respondent.
Taking cognizance of such grievance, we directed the learned Standing Counsel to obtain instructions, according to which, there are no vacant Chambers available and appropriate guidance in the matter is sought from the Board of Revenue.
In the facts of the case, this writ petition is disposed off with a direction upon the third respondent to frame appropriate scheme in consultation with local Bar Association for allotment of Chambers and to process petitioner's request in terms of such scheme. Seniority of the lawyer would be duly considered while making allotment.
