Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 3.
In view of the order which is being proposed to be passed, no notice need be sent to the private respondents.
The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that simply on the basis of the report of the Tehsildar, the SubDivisional Magistrate could not have altered the enteries. It has further been submitted that in the Revision after issuing notice, had simply fixed a date. He further submitted that when there was no interim order passed by the Board of Revenue, the proceedings for dispossessing the petitioner were going on.
Without entering into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the Revision being Revision No. 1606 of 2020, Computerized Case No.AL20201714001606, under Section 210 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, be decided within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order. The copy of this order would be duly certified by the
petitioner's counsel.
For a period of two months or till the decision of the Revision,
whichever is earlier, status quo as of today, shall be maintained.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is
disposed of.
