Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to implead 'Superintendent of Police (Rural), Varanasi' as respondent no.5 in the array of parties during the course of the day.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner claims to have appeared in selection for appointment on the post of Constable in U.P. Police pursuant to an advertisement notifying the vacancies of Constable in the year 2015. The petitioner claims to have been selected and he has been allotted district Lucknow. However, he was not sent for training though other candidates selected in the same selection have already been sent for training.

The petitioner states that till now his candidature has not been cancelled and the petitioner has not been sent for training for the reason best known to respondent no.5.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and appropriate direction may be issued to respondent no.5 to consider the grievance of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no.5- Superintendent of Police (Rural), Varanasi alongwith the copy of this order downloaded from the official website of Allahabad High Court, raising all his grievances within a period of two weeks from today. In case any such representation is filed by the petitioner, the respondent no.5 shall decide the same by reasoned and speaking order within a period of two

months thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of subject to the observations made above.
