Heard Sri Pavan Kumar Srviastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Shaym Mani Shukla, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 3.

It is contended that the petitioner was appointed as a daily wager in Baroda U.P. Gramin Bank on 08.04.1982. He continued to work as daily wager till 15.02.1988 and, thereafter, his services were regularized and he retired from the post of Office Assistant on 31.08.2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has not been granted graduation increment while he had completed his graduation during his service as well as fitment benefit for which he is entitled.

Ventilating his grievance the petitioner had moved a representation before the respondent bank, copies of the representations have been collectively brought on record as annexure no. 8 to the writ petition. The sole prayer of the petitioner is that the bank may decide his representation.

Sri Shyam Mani Shukla, learned counsel appearing for the bank, very fairly submitted that bank will process and decide the representation of the petitioner within two months.

With the consent of parties and without inviting counter affidavit, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, by a reasoned and speaking order after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order downloaded from the website of the High Court.
