The grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition, filed in public interest, is that no enquiry has been initiated against respondent No.5, the exPradhan of Gram Sabha Chhatwa, Post Sirsa, Block Orava, Tehsil Meja, District Prayagraj despite the petitioner filing application along with affidavit giving details of embezzlement of Government funds.
Learned counsel for respondent Nos. 1 to 4 submitted that appropriate action shall be taken by the competent authority on the application filed by the petitioner within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
In view of the aforesaid stand taken by learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition is disposed of in terms thereof.
