The supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
A joint affidavit in the nature of a supplementary affidavit is sought to be filed to assert that the dispute between the parties has been brought to an end as they have reached at a settlement with the intervention of the mediators at the police station concerned.
Having Perused the averments in the supplementary affidavit, the present writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Investigating Officer to bring the investigation to its logical conclusion by taking notice of the compromise between the parties and submit a report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. at the earliest, preferably within a period of two weeks from today.
Till the submission of the police report, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioners herein in case crime no.569 of 2021, under Sections 498-A, 323 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, police station Kareli, District Prayagraj.
