Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the reliefs as under:-
"A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 16.01.2020, registered at Case Crime No.048 of 202,0 under Section 3/7 of Essential Commodities Act,1955, P.S. Swar, District Rampur to that extent so far it relates to the petitioner(Annexure No.1 to the writ petition).
B. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no.2, and his subordinates not to arrest the Petitioners in Case Crime No.048 of 2020, under Section 3/7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, P.S. Swar, District Rampur.(Annexure No.1 to the writ petition) to that extent so far it relates to the Petitioners."
After arguments were heard at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writ petition may be dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to apply for bail/anticipatory bail.
In view of the aforesaid statement of the learned counsel for the pettioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
