This writ petition has been filed praying for the following reliefs:
"a) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the FIR dated 10.10.2020 under sections 406 & 420 I.P.C. bearing case crime no.0326 of 2020 relating to Police Station Mundali District Meerut.
b) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents concerned not to arrest the petitioner in pursaunce of the impugned FIR dated 10.10.2020 under sections 406 & 420 I.P.C. bearing case crime no.0326 of 2020 relating to Police Station Mundali District Meerut."
After the arguments were heard at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner wants to withdraw the writ petition and therefore, it may be dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to apply for anticipatory bail as permissible under law and in accordance with law.
Learned A.G.A. has no objection to the aforesaid request of the petitioner.
In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to apply for anticipatory bail.
It is made clear that we have not expressed any opinion on merits of the case of the petitioner.
