Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned counsel for opposite party.
The applicant has preferred the present contempt petition for non-compliance of the judgment and order dated 19.10.2020 passed in Writ A No. 7576 of 2020 (Smt. Varsha Rani Vs. State of U.P. and 4 others).
Today, when the matter was taken up an affidavit of compliance has been filed by opposite party in paragraph 8 of the aforesaid affidavit, it is stated that pursuant to the order passed by Writ Court as well as in the present contempt petition, the applicant was paid his current salary w.e.f. February, 2021 the affidavit of compliance is taken on record.
In this view of the matter, it is argued by learned counsel for applicant that order passed by Writ Court has been complied with, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application.
The present contempt application is dismissed having become infructuous.
Personal appearance of opposite party is exempted. Notices are discharged.
