Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the nature of certiorari quashing the effect and operation of the order dated 03.12.2020 passed by Additional District and Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court 2nd) Banda in Criminal Revision No.46 of 2020 (Naval Kishor Yadav Vs. State of U.P. and others) as well as its consequential order dated 19.8.2020 passed by the Judicial Magistrate/ Civil Judge (J.D.) Banda in Misc. Case No.56/IX/2020 (Naval Kisor Vs. Shivmurat and others), under section 156(3) Cr.P.C.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he does not want to press other prayers made in the prayer clause and has only made a prayer for expeditious disposal of the matter pending before the court below.

Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2020. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
