This petition is placed before the Court in Chambers by the Registry, as the precautions required to be taken up in view of the COVID-19 pandemic requires various strict measures, including following of social distancing etc. Consequently, the appearance of parties and their counsel/s is dispensed with. I have perused the records.

This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondent no. 1 to decide Restoration Application No. 147/13, Computerized No. T201315090300077 (Bechu Rai Vs. Vishun Deo Singh and others) which is pending before him.

Perusal of the record would go to show that the restoration application has remain pending for fairly long.

In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 1 to dispose of the pending restoration application of the petitioner expeditiously, by fixing weekly dates, without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of three months, from the date of regular working in the office concerned resumes post lockdown period on account of COVID-19 pandemic.

The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
