Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2 and Sri P.D. Tripathi for respondent nos. 3,4 and 5.
Question as to whether petitioners are entitled for the First Annual Increment, has been referred by the Finance Controller to the State Government on 7.6.2017. It is stated that despite expiry of sufficient time, no decision has been taken by the State Government, hence this petition.
Learned Standing Counsel states that appropriate decision in the matter would be taken by the competent authority, in accordance with law.
Considering the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.2 to get the facts verified and take an appropriate decision in light of the query made by the Finance Controller, contained in his letter dated 7.6.2017, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of copy of this order.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
