Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri N.D. Shukla who appears for the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 and the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
The sole prayer made in this petition is for the consideration of the claim of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Clerk.
In view of the aforesaid the ends of justice would merit the aforesaid claim being considered by the third respondent in the first instance.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of respective parties, this petition shall stand disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law, with expedition and preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order alongwith a copy of the writ petition and its enclosures.
