This petition is placed before the Court in Chambers by the Registry, as the precautions required to be taken up in view of the COVID-19 pandemic requires various strict measures, including following of social distancing etc. Consequently, the appearance of parties and their counsel/s is dispensed with.I have perused the records.

Petitioner claims to be working as Seasonal Collection Amin since the year 1997. It is stated that petitioner has been working continuously ever since then and he is entitled to be regularized, yet the authorities have not taken any decision in that regard. It is contended that the seniority list has been drawn in which the name of petitioner figures at serial no.53. According to petitioner, persons upto serial no.51 have been regularized but the petitioner's claim has not been examined so far. Reliance is placed upon a Government Order dated 22.2.2019 regarding waiver of age limit for the purposes of consideration of claim for regularization. Submission is that various representations made in that regard have not been bestowed any consideration.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim, noticed above, and an appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.

The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
