Heard Sri Anand Prakash Paul, learned counsel assisted by Sri Shrey Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A for the State.

This petition has been filed seeking the following relief:

" Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding the respondent no. 3, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Etah to direct the respondent no. 5 to register first information report of petitioner dated 27.08.2020 against respondent nos. 6, 7 and 8 and decide application of petitioner under section 156(3) Cr.P.C. dated 15.09.2020 (Annexure 10) within a time bound programme and preferably within one month."

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the application has been pending for no good reasons.

The only prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is that the application may be decided within stipulated period of time.

Learned AGA in his usual fairness submits that the respondent authorities are under an obligation of law to decide the application of the petitioner within a reasonable period of time and not keep them pending indefinitely.

In light of the above the competent authority is directed to decide the application of petitioner under section 156(3) Cr.P.C. dated 15.09.2020 in accordance with law preferably within a

period of three months from the date of production of a computer generated copy of this order, downloaded from the official website of the High Court Allahabad along with fresh copy of the representation and supporting document, if any.

The computer generated copy of such order be self attested by the petitioners (party concerned) along with a self attested identity proof of the said person (preferably Aadhar Card) mentioning the mobile number to which the said Aadhar Card is linked. The Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing.

The writ petition is disposed of finally.
