Sri Ashok Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the applicant states that this bail application under Section 439 in Case Crime No.65 of 2020, under Sections 302, 307, 120B, IPC and Section 3/4 Arms Act, Police Station Kankarkheda, District Meerut, has been filed directly to this Court on 27.07.2020, because the Courts at Meerut were completely non-functional due to lock down in consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is stated that now the Courts at Meerut have resumed judicial function. It is prayed that this application may be dismissed as not pressed with liberty to the applicant to approach the learned Sessions Judge, Meerut.
This application is dismissed as not pressed and the applicant shall have liberty to approach the learned Sessions Judge, Meerut for bail, in the first instance.
