Heard learned counsel for the applicants, the learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.
The instant application has been moved seeking anticipatory bail in light of the apprehension of the arrest of the applicants in Case Crime No. 215 of 2020, under Sections 3/5A/8 U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Section 11 Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, Police Station Manda, District Prayagraj.
Admittedly the applicants are the registered owners of the vehicles from which a large quantity of slaughtered animal meat was found and recovered. In that view of the matter, the Court finds no ground to accord the facility of anticipatory bail to the applicants. The prayer so made is refused.
